Container to Container
Cross stuffing moves cargo from one shipping container into another, usually at a port or free zone, before it continues to its destination. We handle the container move, the transfer and the customs paperwork ourselves, on our own trucks and our own brokerage licence, so the job does not stall between three different providers. It runs alongside our customs clearance and warehousing, so a transfer does not need three suppliers. Cross stuffing is often confused with cross docking and with ordinary consolidation; if you want the distinction set out plainly first, start with what cross stuffing actually is. The work is run from our site inside Jebel Ali Free Zone, next to the port.

How Cross Stuffing Works
Every transfer follows the same six stages, whether the container is moving through Jebel Ali or Khor Fakkan.
1. Collection
We collect the container from the terminal, free zone or your supplier using our own trucks, so the transfer is not waiting on a subcontractor.
2. Inspection and Tally
Cargo is checked and counted against your documents as it comes out, and any discrepancy is recorded on the spot.
3. Transfer
Goods are moved into the receiving container, and re-packed or re-palletised where the cargo requires it.
4. Securing and Sealing
The outbound container is loaded, braced and sealed, with seal numbers recorded against the job.
5. Customs Clearance
Documentation is prepared and filed for the onward movement under our own brokerage licence at Jebel Ali or Khor Fakkan.
6. Onward Transport
The container returns to the port, or moves by road within the UAE or across the GCC on our own fleet.
Where We Cross Stuff
The right port depends on where your cargo is going next. We are licensed at both, so the choice is made on the routing rather than on paperwork.
Jebel Ali Port
The region's main transshipment hub, and where most UAE cross stuffing happens because shipping lines and destinations change here. Our Free Zone facility sits alongside the port and we clear customs on site. Containers can also be held in bonded storage between the two moves where duty should stay suspended.
Khor Fakkan Port
On the east coast, outside the Strait of Hormuz. For cargo moving between the east coast and the Gulf, transferring here can take an entire leg out of the journey.
Not the Same as Cross Docking
Cross docking moves goods from one vehicle to another at a warehouse door, usually for domestic delivery. Cross stuffing moves cargo between shipping containers for an onward international leg. Tell us the route and we will say which you need.
Cargo We Handle
General and palletised freight, machinery and industrial equipment, fragile and high-value goods, project and oversized pieces, and consolidated LCL. Re-packing, crating and palletising can run as part of the same job.
