Full Truckload Trucking in Dubai and the UAE

A full truckload means one vehicle carries one customer's consignment and nothing else. It leaves the collection point and goes to the delivery address, so there is no consolidation depot in the middle, no transfer between vehicles, and no other shipper's cargo sharing the deck. Cannata runs FTL work from its own fleet across the UAE and into the GCC as part of our land transportation services.

When a Full Load Is the Right Call truck

Choose FTL When One of These Is True

A full truckload costs more per shipment than sharing a vehicle. It earns that back whenever handling, timing or security matter more than the rate.

  • The cargo fills most of a trailer
  • The delivery date is fixed and cannot slip
  • The goods are fragile, high-value or sensitive to handling
  • You want one seal from collection to delivery
  • The load is crossing a GCC border
  • Consolidation would add days to the transit

What We Need to Quote a Full Truckload

Most FTL quotes are straightforward once four things are known. Send these and you will usually get a price back the same working day rather than a request for more detail.

Route

Collection and delivery addresses, not just the cities. A Jebel Ali Free Zone pickup and a Deira pickup are different jobs even though both say Dubai.

Load

What the cargo is, its total weight, and the dimensions of the largest piece. That decides the trailer - curtainsider, flatbed, low-bed or temperature-controlled.

Timing

The date the goods are ready and the date they must arrive. A fixed delivery slot is the usual reason to book FTL rather than a part load.

Paperwork

For cross-border loads, the commercial invoice and packing list. Our customs team prepares the declarations from these, so sending them early avoids a wait at the border.

Freight That Usually Moves as FTL

The mix below is what most of our full-truckload work looks like across the UAE and the GCC corridors.

  • Industrial and project cargo

Machinery, plant, steel and building materials that are heavy, awkward, or need a flatbed or low-bed.

  • Palletised retail and FMCG

Full-pallet volumes moving from a warehouse or port into distribution, where handling should be kept to a minimum.

  • Fixed-date and time-critical loads

Shipments with a slot to hit - a vessel cut-off, a site installation, or a contractual delivery date.

Why Cannata truck

An Owned Fleet, Not a Broker Promise

Booking a full truckload only means something if the truck exists. Most Dubai freight companies subcontract the vehicle; ours are our own trucks and our own drivers.

Our own vehicles

The truck is allocated from our fleet when you book, not sourced afterwards on the spot market.

Customs in-house

Clearance at Jebel Ali and Khor Fakkan is our own service, so a cross-border full load has one owner end to end.

One point of contact

The same team arranges the collection, the transport and the paperwork, so there is nobody to chase between companies.

Rate Request

Give us the route and the cargo and we will come back with a rate, usually within one working day.

Our FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What customers ask before booking a full truckload.

A full truckload is one vehicle carrying one customer's goods directly from collection to delivery. A part load, or LTL, shares the vehicle with other consignments and usually passes through a consolidation point, which costs less but takes longer and involves more handling.

All seven emirates, from our three Dubai bases in Deira, Umm Ramool and Jebel Ali Free Zone, and cross-border into Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.

Yes. Customs clearance is one of our own services rather than an outsourced one, so the declarations are prepared by the same team that books the truck. We clear at Jebel Ali and Khor Fakkan.

Yes - that is the advantage of a full load. The same vehicle can collect from your supplier, and if the delivery window is later the goods can wait in one of our Dubai warehouses before the final leg, without being transferred between vehicles.

The collection and delivery addresses, what the cargo is, its weight and the dimensions of the largest piece, and the dates it is ready and due. For cross-border work, the commercial invoice and packing list as well.

Yes. Temperature-controlled trailers are available for goods that must stay within a range, and low-beds and lifting equipment for plant and machinery that will not fit a standard trailer.
